This is only the basics of what happened last week in Anderson County real estate.

Least Expensive Home Reported Sold

The least expensive home reported sold this week was a 1535 SF 2 bedroom 1 bath house on 0.5 acres in the city limits of Honea Path.

It sold for $16,000 CASH after being on the market for 28 days. Originally hit the market at $25,000.

Located in the 29654 Zip Code and the Honea Path Elementary, Honea Path Middle, Belton-Honea Path High school district per MLS listing.

Over 50 years old and needs work. It needs so much work that it will not qualify for financing according to the listing.

No pictures of the interior but the listing says it has hardwood and vinyl flooring. No heat or AC. Public sewer and water. Wood exterior on crawl space.

Hard to say much about this home since it lacked decent marketing due to the lack of interior pictures and limited details entered in the MLS.

This Week’s Hot New Listing

The best deal of this week’s new listings in my opinion is a 2769 SF 4 bedroom 3 bath house on 0.8 acres in the city limits of Anderson.

Hit the market at $195,000.

Located in the 29621 Zip Code and the Calhoun Elementary, McCants Middle, TL Hanna High school district.

Big brick ranch with 2 car garage and workshop in the basement. Great location close to Anderson University with mature landscaping.

Home is tasteful and stylish inside but you can tell it’s age when you see the pink tile bathroom. Still, it appears to be in tip top shape with plenty of updates.
