You are making the biggest purchase of your life.

A home inspection should show you what is right & wrong with the home.

As exclusive buyer agents, we work hard to make the home buying adventure fun. But the fact is, it's a big financial decision and there is a certain amount of stress in the process. We want to take to make this as easy as possible so we recommend the best local lenders, home inspectors, settlement attorneys & local contractors.

Jeff Pearce with The Pearce Group is one of our recommended home inspectors. Take a moment to watch him inspecting a condominium in Virginia. We appreciate his honesty and hope you learn a few things from Jeff's expertise.

Thank you!

Hi Victoria... so many aspects of an inspection are not understood by buyers. First off, I remind mine all the time that it's a visual inspection and that they might need a more detailed inspection for certain aspects of the home. And you can never repeat enough times that that purpose of an inspection is not to insure a "like-new" home at the end of the exercise.

So true! Nina Hollander most home buyers buy "used" houses and there's a steep learning curve with that fact. Thanks for stopping by!

Hi again, the home inspection is huge. Really it should never be skipped to save a few hundred bucks - it could cost thousands in repairs down the road.  Good idea for a video too. D

Thanks, Debb, I used an iPad to make the video and it's a little shaky but I'm going to try our camera for the next few videos.
