A List of Royalty Free Image Sites for Your Active Rain or Blog Posts!

Why did I use this picture of primates sitting on books? Because it is weird and captures your attention! Here is a list for those of you looking for images that are free to use and royalty free!

To step away from my "Zurple Marketing Team" role, as an individual I am partial to pixabay. This is because the image search is easy, and the creative commons license is clearly labeled on each image.  That is just a personal preference, and not an official endorsement by our company. :)

 

What stock images sites do you use? Do you sign up for paid stock images like Shutter Stock? If so, what is your experience? Let us know in the comments below.

Thank you for this awesome list of Royalty Free images. It has become difficult to find free images or graphics/photos with low costs. I create my own but there are so many different themes and looks that I need. Trying to produce them all is time prohibitive.

Thanks David! We agree. Walking around your neighborhood and getting good shots is excellent...but sometimes you might need different images of sinks or interiors.
