A lack of homes and surging prices are hitting first-time buyers particularly hard heading into the spring season. The share of first-time homeowners dropped to 29% of all existing-home sales in January, down from 33% this past year, as reported by the latest housing report from the National Association of Realtors®. Being an FTB in today's market can take the glimmer from your eye and replace it with tears.  The days of getting an entry-level house that needs a little sweat equity cheaply are gone. As an agent, all you can do is help them through the sale. They may have to kiss a few frogs along the way.
