April is here, and I do not remember such weather in April in Daytona Beach in all my years in Florida, and it is a bit more than 20.
The weather website says it is 69F. I do not know, maybe it is 69F somewhere, but on the beach, it feels more like 59F. It is very windy, and unpleasant to walk, and we cut short our beach walk and retreated to our condo...
I remember like in March we were reaching 80F and then we were counting 3 weeks and the water in the ocean was already warm.
We now do not have cold winters. But we got chilly Springs.The other phenomenon is that the whole week the weather is fine, but come the weekend, and it is gloomy, stormy and overall nasty.
I am longing for summers. So far all summers were predictably hot, with a thunderstorm in the afternoon, and a lot of sunshine.
