Another Happy Closing Day in Silver Spring and another perfect example for...
... when it's the right house, it will all work out!
After searching for their new home for a couple of months, my clients thought they had found the one in the Forest Estates subdivision in 20902 Silver Spring. Unfortunately, this lovely Cape Cod had - just like most listings in Silver Spring, MD and beyond at this time - more than one offer and, although they put their best foot forward and submitted a highly competitive offer, the seller chose a different one.
My clients were pretty bummed out but I kept reassuring them: if it doesn't work out, it's not the right house! Please know that we will find the one and if this one is it, then don't give up hope, it may still happen!
We continued searching but none of the other houses that came on the market piqued my clients' interest as much as that house, none felt like home to them. About three weeks later, as I was conducting my daily search, what do you think popped up as 'back on the market'? The house! I immediately called the listing agent and scheduled another showing appointment and, yes, my clients still loved it. In this highly competitive market, we knew that we had to get creative, to not risk losing it a second time and it worked. The seller chose my clients' offer!
Fast forward five weeks, to today.. to another Happy Closing Day in Silver Spring and another perfect example for: when it's the right house, it will all work out!
Just SOLD in the Forest Estates subdivision in 20902 Silver Spring! Listing courtesy of Jan Mandart with Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc., who was such a pleasure to work with. A big shout-out also to Bridget "Mortgage Mama" McGee with Corridor Mortgage Group who took great care of my clients and to the folks at RGS Title who, as always, made this one smooth (and filled with laughter) settlement!
