If You Focus on the Chug Hole or Pot Hole (Location Language), You'll Fall Into It!
Have you ever noticed that while driving a car, or riding a bike, if you focus on that chug hole or pothole as they are called in some areas, you'll hit it!
Even though you're focusing on it to avoid it. Our bodies take us to where our eyes focus.
The key is to be aware of it, but focus on where you want to go.
The same is true in life. If you focus on what you don't want to be, or focus on what you don't want to do, you'll do it.
You must be aware of the things around you that you do not want to be or do but do not focus on them. Just be aware and be alert to their presence, even sometimes guarding yourself against them such as: Don't hang out with negative people if you do not want to become one! Pessimism is contagious! BUT so is:
- Being a Problem Solver instead of a problem creator
- Attention to Detail
- Honesty and Integrity
- Enthusiasm
One example is a diet, if you focus on food, you'll going to want to eat all of the time. You have to focus on other things.
Want to be successful in life?
Focus on the success that you want.
Stay alert to the pitfalls that can keep you from accomplishing your goal, but do not focus or dwell on them.
If you focus on the rocks, you'll miss the diamond.
Focus on where you want to go. In life, in relationships, and in business.
