I'm longing for my flip flops and I'm not speaking of a house flip. Seriously though... Minnesota has it's weather ups and downs, but spring market sure isn't matching the weather. Typically this time of year we are throwing off our coats, leaving hats and mittens in the dust and pulling out the sandels for our toes to bask in the sun. (or something like that).
Spring season isn't just about the multiple offers, hoards of people thronging open houses, and sellers looking for the best price on their castles. It's about the fresh air, open windows and birds freely singing in the rain. Seeing Tulips in other peoples' yards making me want to plant our own and the general energy the new season brings are all part of the natural way of things.
This year, along with our crazy mixed up market, it seems that the weather itself needs a spring break. It's crazy highs and lows and snowy twirly pattern has everyone guessing as to it's mood. We are headed into another weekend of hopefully rain (snow) and I'm not sure that anyone is excited about it. Instead of springtime and flip flops we are considering how many inches of snow can keep us locked up at home.
