Choosing Color Schemes and Decorative Finishes will be presented by architectural colorist Bob Bruckter on Sunday, April 15, at 7:00 pm at the Alameda Architectural Preservation Society meeting at Immanuel Lutheran Church at 1420 Lafayette Street.  Free for AAPS members and $5.00 for all others. www.alameda-preservation.org for more information.

 

The Alameda’s Farmer’s Market is open to the public Saturday, April 14,  and Tuesday, April 17 mornings from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, rain or shine.  All the fruits and vegetables are available at great prices.  So good! Don’t miss the opportunity to shop for delectable fruits, vegetables, and flowers.  The market is on Haight Avenue at Webster Street and is open rain or shine.

Alameda South Shore Center and Off the Grid food trucks will be at South Shore on Saturday, April 14, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the South Shore Center parking lot in front of Petco.

 

Crab Cove for Family Nature Fun Hour for “Colors, Colors Everywhere” on Saturday, April 14 and Sunday, April 15, at 2:00 pm then see what is going on at the Visitor’s Center.  Crab Cove is located at 1252 McKay Avenue. Please call 510-544-3187 for more information.

 

A Chorus Line presented by the Encinal High School’s Dance Club on Saturday, April 14 at 7:30 pm through Sunday, April 22, at the Encinal Gym Stage, 210 Central Avenue in Alameda.  Tickets sold at the door are $14 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. Nich Graphic -  looks like residents and visitors to Alameda will have lots of options to choose from for their weekend activities.
