CELEBRATE GREEN EARTH DAY AT THE MASTER PLAN OF PROVIDENCE

By
Real Estate Agent with The Smith Team 21625

Providence the master-planned community located in the northwest part of the Las Vegas Valley will be holding an event ‘Going Green Earth Day’ on Saturday April 21 in the community’s Huckleberry Park.  This is a family-friendly event for the residents of Providence and others that want to support keeping the Earth healthy and clean.

Before the festivities in the park the day will start with a cleanup of desert land just west of Providence supervised by the Bureau of Land Management.  This activity starts at 9a.m. and goes to 11a.m. – volunteers should meet at 8:30 a.m. in Huckleberry Park – you will receive a backpack with a water bottle and a tee shirt.

The Going Green event will start at 11a.m. and run through 2p.m. at the park with music, games, a special animal show, interactive games for children and a toddler play yard.  Star Nursery will offer gardening demonstrations for both adults and children.  There will be food trucks on hand with food items for sale.

The Birdman Show is not just fun – educational as well.  There is an eagle, condor and 15-foot snake to show the importance of predators for rodent control instead of using poisons.

Keep in mind that whether you are interested in buying a home or listing a home, a Realtor should represent you– this person is working for your benefit and will help you navigate through the buying or selling process.  I have thirteen years in New Home Sales and fifteen years in General Real Estate sales!
