Wordless Wednesday ~ Breakfast

By
Real Estate Agent with Front Gate Real Estate Broker 11085

People say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. This squirrel was getting his belly full when I took a recent stroll in the park.

Taking photos of nature and architecture is one of my hobbies. My passion for real estate leads me to photograph rustic old barns, unique home details, and of course flowers!

The squirrels in my backyard eat a little too well, they keep taking all my bird food.

Yes Barbara Todaro - he appears to be a health nut!

Carol Williams - this little guy is a squirrel, very popular here in the south!

JL Boney, III - they are fun to watch as they scamper up a pole to get to the bird food. Try putting vaseline or some other product to make it slippery.

Pat Starnes, Brandon, MS  Those squirrels are so cute I get a kick out of them although some people find them to be a nuisance

Carol Williams - LOL. I understand, but we never see them here in the south. :)

Hannah Williams - I love watching them, but yes, people who try to bring birds into their yards are quite annoyed with bushy tail squirrels. They are fun watching them run fence lines or jumping from tree to tree.

He definitely seems intent on his snack Pat. We have several squirrels that used to wipe out the birdseed in our backyard. We got one of those squirrel-proof feders and after trying (and failing) several tmes to eat they've given up. Now the birds have no competition

Squirrels can consume a lot of bird seed if given the opportunity. Good thing you have a feeder meant to deter them. Debe Maxwell, CRS

I have a picnic table out on my back patio.  There are a couple of squirrels who often come to raid a bowl of cat food I have there.  They look in the kitchen window at me if it is empty.

Hi Pat

Well that photo was a surprise but it's a good one. That squirrel has his, or her, dining area all to him/herself!

Pat squirrels are amazing, they are smart and very creative in getting their meals... my parents used to feed them in Connecticut and in turn they spread the word and at one point they were feeding a dozen:)) here in Los Angeles they like our Oranges and Tangerines:))Endre
