Here is a question I often ask myself when I question the logic of working for myself. If I had one year left, what would I be doing right now? The truth is I would be doing exactly what I am doing now. I love what I do and most of all it allows me to control the time I have with my family. How about you?

I think I'm with you. I've been doing 1031 exchanges for almost 24 years now and I have always loved helping people with their tax-deferred exchange strategies. But, I would probably also play a little more if I only had one year left to go.
I say to you Bill, play now. Life is way too short. Make the best of it. Always consider it a blessing when you wake up in the morning. It is another chance to do something good.
Mark, I think I would spend time with everyone in my life who I love and then if there is still time, visit with all my old friends.
I would spend more time with loved ones and those I care about. I try now to live as if it were my last days. Never fail to tell someone you love them...you may never see them again.
