If you are looking for something to do on this fine mid-April Sunday in Denver, consider checking out Passport to the Universe at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. We have spoken about this museum many times in our Denver property management local event watch. It is home to many great and educational exhibits that are worth checking out. On Sundays the exhibit begins at 4:30pm. From the event page itself, “Passport to the Universe returns with stunning new visualizations of the latest scientific data from space. Take an incredible journey across billions of light years as you soar beneath the rings of Saturn, into the heart of the Orion Nebula, and out into the vastness of the known universe, as you discover your place on the cosmic atlas. Narrated by Tom Hanks. Passport to the Universe was developed by the American Museum of Natural History, New York (amnh.org) in collaboration with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Major support for new version provided by the California Academy of Sciences, San Francisco.” It will be a great event that spans all the way until Dec 31, 2018, so don’t worry if you can’t catch it this Sunday. It only takes about an hour and a half to soak it all in, so do try to fit it in this year. It will be a great illumination of space and our solar system.
