Both well known and well liked by locals, North Springs Park is located just off of Clemson Road, a main thoroughfare through Northeast Columbia, SC. Under the umbrella of The Richland County Recreation Commission, Northeast Springs Park has a lot to offer for visitors of all ages to come out and enjoy.
There are covered picnic shelters for park goers to get out of the Sun or enjoy a snack. The playground has long since been a favorite for my little people and I am sure that yours would enjoy a chance to explore it as well. Tennis Courts, baseball fields, and soccer fields can be found on site as well.
While the temperatures of Summer in South Carolina mixed with the humidity can make the outdoors rouge in the afternoon and in-climate weather can of course strike at anytime, North Springs Park will not let down then either. They also have a large indoor facility complete with basketball court and two racquetball courts to get some energy out.
North Springs Park plays host to many events throughout the year, like an annual Halloween event and haunted house and many other scheduled events like martial arts classes, Zumba, dance classes, and gymnastics.
North Springs Park is located at 1320 Clemson Road Columbia, SC 29229.
The park and Playground are free to use, but some classes and team sport activities may require a payment.
