In this extreme sellers’ market, it’s important to maintain a consistent flow of marketing to and for homeowners. We are listing agents, and my marketing of choice in search of fresh inventory is direct mail marketing.
I can’t emphasize enough the importance of consistent mailing; and in preparation for that, I prepare a series of postcards in preparation for future mailings. I’m always 4 or 5 months ahead of the game.
It’s important to provide a new flavor with each mailing. The graphic and message must complement each other; the postcard must be eye catching; and the contact information must be simple with one name, one number and one email address.
The general message on these postcards screams “It’s all about you, the homeowner.” We are here for you. We know what you need, and we will provide it with your special individual circumstances in mind. It’s not about us, until you want it to be. Then we will talk about us!!
My postcards for the next several months have been prepared and will be complemented with just listed, sale pending and closed postcards. We are visible; homeowners know the name; and I don’t miss a beat. This is also referred to as “marketing like we mean it.” The only way to market.
