Monroe NY Real Estate Inventory - April 22-28, 2018

During the last full week of April 2018, five* new single family homes came on the market in Monroe NY. At the same time, total inventory decreased slightly from 85 to 84 available homes. Some readers might be wondering how the total number of homes can keep going down when new homes are added. That's because more homes went under contract than came on the market. In the last week, seven homes went under contract. Interestingly, six of those were new listings during the past month. The Monroe NY market remains a sellers market. This is still an excellent time to sell!

 

The new listings that were added to Monroe real estate inventory were:

 

11 Dorothy Drive, MLS #4818517, listed at $229,000. This three bedroom, one bath ranch home has ~950 square feet of living space and a quarter acre of property. The home has hardwood flooring, a kitchen and bath updated in 2017, and some finished space in lower level.  Outside is a driveway, deck and fenced-in yard with shed.

 

443 Hillside Road, MLS #4817300, listed at $369,000. The second home this week is a four bedroom, two bath ranch home with ~2,150 square feet of living space and a .4 acre of land. The home has an open floor plan, hardwood flooring on the main floor and wall-to-wall carpeting upstairs, a pellet stove and central air-conditioning. Outside is a two car garage, driveway, level backyard and brick patio.

 

7 Stephen Lane, MLS #4817544, listed at $405,000. A five bedroom, two bath, ~2,100 square foot cape-cod home on a half acre is also available. This home has three bedrooms on the first floor, and a master bedroom with private bath and fifth bedroom upstairs. There is a private balcony on the second floor as well which overlooks the backyard and golf course. The home has wood flooring, wood-burning stove, skylight and central air conditioning. Outside is an in-ground pool, deck, two fish ponds and pergola.

 

5 Whitman Place, MLS #4818359, listed at $419,900. This four bedroom, two and a half bath colonial home has ~2,250 square feet of living space and is on close to a half acre of property. This home is in the Whitman Estates subdivision. There are granite counters and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, hardwood flooring, a fireplace, central air conditioning and laundry room.  The home comes with a new 50 year architectural roof, two car garage, driveway, deck and level lawn.

 

414 Hillside Road, MLS #4812825, listed at $479,000. Another option on Hillside Road came on the market this week. This colonial home has five bedrooms, three baths, and ~3,150 square feet of space. The home is located on a cul-de-sac. It has a family room with skylights, kitchen with granite counters, electric fireplace and central air conditioning. The lower level includes a separate entrance as well as a second kitchen, one bedroom and full bath. Outside is a detached two-car garage, porch, above ground pool and deck.
