So, you went online and started browsing around at all the homes for sale in your area and you were told you need to speak with a good lender to get Pre-Qualified or Pre-Approved right? What’s the difference you wonder? The starting point in any real estate search is always going to be speaking with a trusted lender and receiving a pre-qualification to gauge your financing options and comfort level with the expected payment.  When you are more serious about moving forward, you will want to take the next step towards receiving a Pre-Approval.

Mike, these are terms that confuse the public, but they definitely need to be pre-approved in strong Seller markets.   Great explanation!
