It has been a wonderfully full and very busy week with new listings, showings, contracts, phone calls, emails, offers and, of course, the radio show.
My phone has been intermittently not working but not consistent enough to explain it to someone. I would hear that I didn't return a call, that I didn't answer or that I was ignoring them. Sometimes the calls came through. Other times the phone got warm to touch and other times my battery would go down with lightening speed. A few calls came through, a few texts came through.
I am known for answering my phone! This was a tricky to explain when I found out that a potential client had called, early in the morning, and did not get a reply until the late evening.
When I did return his call...I started with an apology. He asked why did I have to apologize. I told him I always answer my phone. Always except this time..because I had phone problems. He had already contacted other agents but was interested in what I had to say.
For sure I had to get a new phone...but so hard to take time when there is so much to do.
My daughter's friend, from college who is now a software architect, looked into my phone by way of FaceTime. After quite a bit of diagnostic stuff, he determined it was an AT&T problem.
So in between back to back tight appointments, I stopped at the Pikesville AT&T store in Woodholme.
Matt Teal (photo above) a retail sales consultant, greeted me at the front door with kindness and assurance.
I shared what had already done by the software architect. Within a few minutes, Matt knew what to do, assured me that I would lose nothing and proceeded to replace the Sim card.
Fifteen minutes later, I was on my way and on time with all my appointments!
Matt and my daughter's friend made my day.
It is really really hard to sell without a cell!
