Chicken Little...Welcome to a Sellers' Market...!

By
Real Estate Agent with EXP Realty 414-525-0563 57026-90 Broker

Now and then we hear the chattering of teeth, the biting of nails, the knocking of knees....Buyers are afraid ....what if I buy in a  Sellers' Market...what will happen when I sell ?

What if I know I am only staying a few years ....should I buy ?    Mmmmmm...for that crystal ball that would tell them the list price they could expect in 3 years, 4 years...10 years....we fortune teller would certainly open a fortune telling booth...wouldn't you all pay per "house forecast? "

We work with people in many professions who well understand that their time here is limited. They buy homes in their price range and realize that some changes they may choose to make are for their own taste/convenience and may/may not contribute to the equity in the house when it becomes time to sell it again.

Do we know what kind of market it will be when you sell ?  No we do not...we do know some safeguards as we discussed in our post the other day found here.

You can go thru life with a "Chicken Little" the sky is falling ....better not buy...best to rent attitude...OR...you can listen to an experienced real estate agent who can offer as much guidance as possible...who will help you after the sale...make decisions about changes you Chicken Littlewish to make to the property...who can help you with maintenance tips...give you a concierge service with reliable contractors as you need them to protect your investment.

You can live your whole life....being afraid of the future.....and never experience the rewards of being the person who HAS the experience....and the rewards that come with it.

We are here to help you every step of the buying tour....and give you as much professional guidance as you wish....and the peace of mind that you are in control...not the landlord who didn't fix the...raised the rent continually...it's your part of the American Dream...Let Sally K.& David L. Hanson help you "sleep tight" and enjoy the next stage of your real estate experience in southeastern Wisconsin.

Good evening Sally K. & David L. Hanson ,

When our sellers market started I remember hearing those wondering if they should buy. Those that bought have been riding the wave and in 3 years their values have sky-rocked! Seize the moment and don't be a Debby Downer!

Sally & David our Seller's Market started about four and a half years ago, hence we have gotten tough skinned, mean and aggressive as you have noticed in my comments over the years:)Endre

Everyone wants to get a deal, but what if them getting a deal started a trend of market values declining, that would not be good for them.  It would be much better for them to pay market value or higher and start a trend of increasing values, thus strengthening their investment.  Too many people let a nickel get in the way of earning a dime, haha.

Good morning Sally and David.  Those same folks that are scared of making a move ina seller's market will be petrified of buying a home in a buyer's market when it appears no one is looking for a home and prices are dropping.
