What I Learned This Week At ActiveRain May 6 to May 12, 2018.
I learn something new every day at ActiveRain! With this series, I try to highlight one post per day that gave me that “lightbulb” moment. It could be something techie, something about Real Estate, about a place or person! Or it could be a post that made me sit up and take notice!
May 6: Sheri Sperry Why Sedona Arizona is a Magnet for So Many…
I had to share this, especially if you’re thinking about doing some local posts! Sheri has set the bar high but it’s certainly worth doing.
Ron and Alexandra Seigel Sunday Smiles: How to Turn "Live" Photos Into GIFs!
Our eyes are attracted to moving objects. GIFs are a fun way to do that. I have several apps on my phone for this but Ron and Alexandra share an easy way to have fun with your photos.
May 7: Roy Kelley Suggestions for an ActiveRain Challenge
Roy has always been a big supporter of the members here, congratulating members when they are featured and reblogging posts. Whether or not Roy's entry is selected, I would encourage you to consider reblogging posts of your fellow members. Points aside, it's a great way to give a post you like and extended life.

I do a lot of my work in the cloud which comes in handy when my laptop likes to take a day off.

Doug Jones Why Sales People Fail (the real reason)
Definitely worth the read, especially if you like magic!
May 11: Myrl Jeffcoat Why do We Continue to Do This?
I know that for me if I have to jump through hoops to find out the price of something, I lose interest. What would you do if you went to the market and had to fill your grocery cart, then go to another area of the store to find out what the price was?
May 12: Hugh Thomas Lorch Important Sales Attitude I Had to Pass On.
Many of us have learned this in our first years of working in sales, but it always took time for it to sink in.
Don't forget to check out Carol Williams Second Chance Saturday posts as well. I always find a post or two that I missed.
And you can find previous What I Learned at ActiveRain here.
Thank you for letting me do what I love to do each day... learn something new!
