Well what does that mean exactly and what steps can you begin to take to start doing it?
This is the easy part actually and here is what I did and what I do.
I have told my story of my cholesterol a few times. After getting the daylights scared out of me by finding out that my cholesterol was through the roof, I was forced into really paying attention to what I eat. Overall, my choices were simple. Have a heart attack and die or stop sticking potato chips in my face and be more disciplined.
My battles on my diet are won hour-by-hour. I pay attention to what I am eating hour-by-hour. I am actually on a roll now. It’s been 8 months now and I look at junk food differently and feel a thousand times better.
As far as the mind goes? Start every single day with a positive thought in your head. I post. I post positive thoughts on Facebook. No different actively not stuffing chips in my face, thinking positive is something which I actually put into my head. Like my diet and putting good stuff in my mouth, I simply put good stuff in my brain. Sound crazy? Not really. Try it.
