I'm guessing that you come across this fairly often when clients are selling their home, especially if they've lived there for a long time.
I see it all the time...linoleum or vinyl...in the kitchen and/or other areas of the home. It's an eye sore and can inhibit the ability to sell a house - both the time on market and the price.
Well there's a newish type of flooring on the market and it's called Coretec Plus. While we've been installing this product 6 to 7 years, it's just been hitting the main stream market place over the last 2-3 years. I have been getting more and more inquiries about it on my website. In fact, this blog post has more than 300 questions and comments!
But, I'm still finding that many real estate agents are unaware of this innovative flooring. So, I thought I would give you a quick overview so that you can help your clients who may have a need for this.
So, what is Coretec Plus?
It's a luxury vinyl plank that LOOKS like hardwood...BUT....It's WATERPROOF!
So, it can be installed in areas that may have water or moisture, such as a kitchen or basement. It clicks together (like a laminate does) except it's WATERPROOF. Note: Laminate is NOT waterproof. In fact, it's the opposite...it absorbs water and moisture like a sponge, so it's the worst option for places that may get wet...in fact, it's worse than hardwood.
Coretec Plus looks and feels more real than than laminates do. You'll be amazed when you see and touch this product.
Because Coretec Plus is a floating floor, you can (usually) install it on top of vinyl, tile or concrete. So, installation is usually less expensive. You can read more about this product and see the wide breadth of colors and styles in my full review of Coretec Plus.
