Italian/Asian Fusion Lunch
We had a supply of fresh vegetables and Chef Dolores prepared a wonderful Italian version of Ratatouille which she served over fresh Ramen noodles. The beverage selection was the new 2018 Summerfest Crisp Lager from Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., 5% Alc. by Vol. This is a good selection when you want a lighter beer during warm weather.

Happy Friday Roy. Occasionally, I do like the taste of a cold beer on hot days. This sounds like a great lunch - and winning combination with the meal and the Summerfest.

The City's two Farmers Markets are now in full swing. You'll find them on Main Street in the Kentlands on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and at the corner of Rt. 355 and Fulks Corner Avenue in Olde Towne on Thursdays from 12:30 to 6 p.m. They both feature an assortment of locally sourced eggs, meats and a variety of produce that changes weekly as crops reach maturity. The Main Street market also features prepared foods, potted plants, cut flowers, and items handmade by local artisans and crafters. Explore the markets here.
