This Canadian Goose Family makes their home on Raymond Gary Lake. We have several Goose Families on the lake. This one likes to frequent the swim beach and not scared by the noisy swimmers and they like to come visit my corner. Canadian Geese are monogamous after finding their mate during their second year of life. We found a dead goose this spring and there has been a loner going up and down the lake as though looking for that goose.... sad.
We enjoy the geese on Raymond Gary Lake. Raymond Gary Lake is home to many ducks, geese, and other birds including a sea gull species that came during one of the gulf hurricanes and made it's home here.
