ActiveRain Challenge Idea: Follow Members Every Day
ActiveRain Ambassador Debe Maxwell is sponsoring the May Challenge for member bloggers. She is asking for suggestions for future monthly contests/challenges. This is my second suggestion.
Topic Idea: Following additional ActiveRain members every day.
Challenge: Follow an additional five members or more each day for 30 days.
Topic Summary: Some of us like easy challenges and especially those that will help us build our network of contacts and to pay it forward at the same time. This challenge does not require a sponsor and can be started at any time. Simply follow an additional five or more members each day for thirty days. You will earn 1,500 points for doing this and you will earn additional points when some of those members reciprocate by following you.
One of my daily habits is to visit the Membership Roster and to follow a number of the new members. If you leave a message as you follow them, more of them will follow you as well.
Learning Opportunity: Building your network should be a positive activity for you as you learn from other members and seek referrals from other parts of the country. Do not pay any attention to the members who recommend that you limit the number of members you follow. There are no limits.
