Making sure you come to an organized work space every day is of paramount importance.  You need to physically organize your workspace today.  You must always strive to work smarter, never harder. OF the many challenges Highlands Ranch property management provides, the one that is the most detrimental to daily productivity is interruption of any kind.  The attention and dedication that you must dedicate to the craft is immense, and workspace devoid of clutter will help you align with that goal.

Analyze every element of your desk that is superfluous.  We tend to trend towards minimalistic setups with plenty of desktop solace.  This always leads to extra papers and Knick knacks taking up much needed space.  Target clutter first and eradicate it with prejudice.  The old sticky notes must be transferred to a notebook, or acted upon for good.  The old yogurt spoon goes right in the trash or your drawer, depending on the frequency of it sues.  Miscellanea anything needs to be filed, tossed or acted upon.  Old business cards need to be filed or shredded depending on our relationship with them.  Any books you are simply not going to read even though the sole reason it is out is because you keep telling yourself you are going to pick it up and read a few pages when you get a few minutes during the day to take a break, need to be put away.

This sort of clutter decluttering needs to extend to your desktop as well.  File everything where it needs to be.  Make sure everything is backed up to your cloud service of choice.  You don’t want to lose any data because its sitting on your desktop.  No word documents are to remain on your desktop.

Keep these items a habit and you will continue to declutter with ease.  The easier these habits are a routine the more likely you are to not need to spend too much time on it when you dedicate precious time to it.  This all leads to great productivity and will help immensely during the busy seasons.
