Wordless Wednesday - You Want Cries With That?

As many of you know, we recently moved.

We downsized and had to sell a lot of stuff.

This McDonald's playset was originally bought in the 80's for my children.

I saved it for my grandchildren and I'm so glad I did. They all really loved it.

The day before it sold, I realized I didn't have a photo of Henry with it.

Needless to say, he was not feeling cooperative when I dressed him in the uniform.

Tears and all, I still love the shot.

Here are the other four grands over the years....

OMG how adorable Sharon! It's so cool that you have pics of all the kids and especially this last one crying or not!

Lise Howe  I'm so glad we had it and that I held onto it for so many years. We really had lots of fun with it.

Carol Williams  Yeah, I don't think the "cries with that" slogan would fly. LOL

Will Hamm  Only if his Lion can work by his side. LOL

Kathy Streib  It was kind of hard at first to sell the McDonalds after all these years, but once I realized I could get $100 for it....I was ok.

Glad you enjoyed the pictures.

Sheila Anderson  Yes, we are in the new home. Most of the unpacking and setting up is done too! We love it and are very happy! Thank you!

James Grant  He just turned two....he's not always cooperative when it comes to posing for my camera. I got a good Wordless out of it at least. LOL

Lottie Kendall I kept a lot of the kids' toys to have for grandbabies. I love knowing that the next generation is also enjoying them. At this time, though, we have no choice but sell or donate because we no longer have the room. The kids have first pick before I sell anything.

Robert Vegas Bob Swetz  Thank you! I love the new profile pic. Very colorful!

Brian England  I wouldn't have minded working there when I was young. My first job was working behind a counter at a sandwich shop and I loved it. Today, though, no thank you! LOL

Chris Ann Cleland  Thank you! At first I thought of "Do you want tears with that?" The "cries" came to me this morning.

Ron and Alexandra Seigel  Thank you! I only wish there was a photo of my kids with it. Hard to believe I didn't get any.

Grant Schneider  Thank you! Yes, we love the new house and are very happy with it!

JL Boney, III  One of my friends still has hers too. They are very popular on Ebay. I sold mine on facebook marketplace.

Anna Banana Kruchten CRB, CRS, Broker  I took many pics of Henry but this was the best one. He was miserable in all of them. Still cute, but not happy.

Those are adorable pictures, Sharon.  And, that title line, "You want cries with that," fits perfectly.

Myrl Jeffcoat  Thank you! I'm glad I have them to share. The title came to me this morning, and I was so happy it did. My first thought was "Disgruntled Employee" and then I came up with "You Want Tears With That?". It was early this morning that "cries" came to me.

Libby Cousins  Thank you! Funny how that happens. At the time I was disappointed I couldn't get a "good" pic. But, now it's my favorite. LOL

Sybil Campbell  It was hard at first, but we had so much to get rid of and once we started saying goodbye to things and collecting the money, the pain decreased. It feels really great to have less stuff!

Endre Barath, Jr.  We cut our square footage in half almost and some things just had to go. This toy, as loved as it was, usually involved all the pieces being spread around the room, generating much clean up. LOL

He was crying because he didn't want to wear the apron and hat. He hates dress up. He wouldn't wear a costume for Halloween either. LOL

What a great toy. I kept some of my kids toys for the grandkids and now they have outgrown them. I have tons of children's books but I think it is time to let them go too. I hope you are liking your new home. Great photos.

Debbie Reynolds  Isn't it wonderful to see your grands playing with their parent's old toys? I love it and I'm so glad they had the opportunity. All good things must come to an end though and we can't keep everything forever.

We are loving the new home, thank you!

Gabe Sanders  That is funny Thank you for the laugh.

Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®,CRS,  Memories are a wonderful thing. I'm blessed with many wonderful, heart filled happy memories of all my babies.

We love the new home and are so happy to finally be past the move.
