Well good thing I am a former home builder and renovator. When I inspect a home I inspect it as if it were going to be my own home. I have over 30 years of experience working on new and old homes. The main thing I stress is that everything is fixable it's just up to the buyer how much they want to take on.
When I was a General Contractor in Atlanta for 12 years I made sure all my people that went in customers houses wore uniform shirts and no jeans. They also had I.D. badges.
The reason for this was to instill trust in our customers. At the high point my customer data base had over 3,000 repeat customers in it.
This all came about after encountering some paranoid people that had a bad experience with some contactors.
All of my people were bonded.
We never had any problems.
