It's been 10 years since the Alameda Theatre was renovated and reopened. In celebration of the 10 year anniversary, the Theatre is hosting a thank you celebration till May 27 by giving ongoing giveaways, special offers and surprise gifts. The Theatre is located at 2317 Central Avenue and has some great movie.
The Alameda’s Farmer’s Market is open to the public Saturday, May 26, and Tuesday, May 29 mornings from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, rain or shine. All the fruits and vegetables are available at great prices. So good! Don’t miss the opportunity to shop for delectable fruits, vegetables, and flowers. The market is on Haight Avenue at Webster Street and is open rain or shine.
Alameda South Shore Center and Off the Grid food trucks will be at South Shore on Saturday, May 26, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the South Shore Center parking lot in front of Petco.
Crab Cove for Family Nature Fun Hour for “Memorial Day Memories” on Saturday, May 26 and Sunday, May 27, at 2:00 pm then see what is going on at the Visitor’s Center. Crab Cove is located at 1252 McKay Avenue. Please call 510-544-3187 for more information.

The City of Alameda’s annual Memorial Day ceremony to remember the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for this nation will take place 11 a.m. Monday, May 28 at Alameda Veterans Memorial Park on Bay Farm Island.
