TGIF Concerts in the Parks Series Begins June 22, 2018

Summer is just around the corner and it’s time once again for our popular TGIF Concerts in the Parks starting Friday, June 22nd. The free TGIF Concerts in the Parks are a highlight of summertime in Carlsbad, and may very well be the best entertainment option around in North San Diego County!

TGIF Concerts in the Parks in CarlsbadThe combination of great music, in one of our beautiful Carlsbad parks, on a summer evening, makes for a special time for area residents and visitors.

And they’re FREE!! It doesn’t get much better than that!

This year will be the 33rd season of Carlsbad’s popular TGIF Concerts in the Parks series which is presented by the City of Carlsbad’s Cultural Arts Office. Concerts take place on 9 consecutive Friday nights in 4 of Carlsbad’s community parks.

Good evening Jeff - I did a double take when I saw Carlsbad TGIF.  We had a TGI Friday's restaurant in Carlsbad.  Not sure if it is still there.

Hi Endre Barath, Jr.

I always enjoy live outdoor music, whether a solo performer or a bigger concert. These concerts in the parks are really lots of fun although they do get kinda crowded.

The timing works out well especially to enjoy dinner, and it's still light out and the temperature is usually still pretty nice, unless them marine layer rolls in.
