TGIF Concerts in the Parks Series Begins June 22, 2018
Summer is just around the corner and it’s time once again for our popular TGIF Concerts in the Parks starting Friday, June 22nd. The free TGIF Concerts in the Parks are a highlight of summertime in Carlsbad, and may very well be the best entertainment option around in North San Diego County!
The combination of great music, in one of our beautiful Carlsbad parks, on a summer evening, makes for a special time for area residents and visitors.
And they’re FREE!! It doesn’t get much better than that!
This year will be the 33rd season of Carlsbad’s popular TGIF Concerts in the Parks series which is presented by the City of Carlsbad’s Cultural Arts Office. Concerts take place on 9 consecutive Friday nights in 4 of Carlsbad’s community parks.
The TGIF Concerts in the Parks are popular with visitors and residents. You can expect a couple thousand people, a sea of blankets and chairs, al fresco dining, lots of kids, dancing, and top notch live music in a wide range of styles.
The concerts run from 6 – 8 with intermission typically around 7 pm when they raffle off a bunch of really cool prizes that are sure to please.
All funds that are raised support various arts programs in Carlsbad.
