Advice from Oprah Winfrey
At this time of the year, much good advice is shared by commencement speakers. Oprah Winfrey provided a lot of practical suggestions for the graduates at the Annenberg School for Communications and Journalism at the University of Southern California.
The workplace lesson she offered is good advice for all of us:
"Become so skilled, so vigilant, so flat-out fantastic at what you do, that your talent cannot be dismissed."
You may wish to pass this advice along to your children and your new associates at work.
