90 Days to your Sales Success-Weekly Coaching Lesson

By
Education & Training with Cherry Creek Mortgage/Summit Champions

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!!  I hope you have something fun to do with this extra day off.  Here is this week's coaching lesson.  With less work pressure this weekend, this would be a good time to take an hour each day and contemplate this lesson.  Let's get going!!

Say "NO" to some things so you'll have more time to concentrate on others.

Have you made time for yourself?  First decide where you would like to spend your extra time.  Then look for ways to free up your schedule to gain time for these new, preferred activities.  Having goals for the use of your newly found time increases your motivation to say "NO" to distractions and diversions.

One of your most effective time management skills is the ability to say "NO".  Courteously and judiciously, of course.  You can't do it all, and do it all well.  Having a specific use for your time-at every point in time-increases your motivation to say NO to "nonscheduled opportunities" or less valuable distractions.  There's no such thing as unlimited resources.  This is especially true of time.  You can push your limits, but to be the most productive possible, know when enough is enough.

Plan every day from your Master List, to your To-Do list, to your Schedule....to Done.

Are planning, organizing and scheduling part of your daily habits?  To plan, organize, and schedule your activities is the very essence of saving time-and improving your productivity.

Maximum personal productivity is entirely dependent upon how quickly you can go from a concept to a completion.  To be as productive as possible, you must have an organized system for keeping track of all data, dates, numbers people, goals, plans and to-do's.  You need one system that helps plan this entire flow of detail-from idea to implementation to completion in  the least amount of time-without losing anything through the cracks-or driving you crazy in the process.

Take time every day to imagine how terrific it will fell when your goals are actually realized.

Ready for an Adventure?  A goal is something that's beyond where you are, and beyond what you normally do.  It requires you to stretch outside of your comfort zone.  Therefore, depending on how you define it, going for your goal can be described as either precarious or adventurous.  Positive achievements require positive attitudes which arise from positive affirmations.

It's impossible to keep striving for something for which you no longer have any feelings.  The more you stay in touch with the rewarding experience, and positive feelings that each goal delivers, the more motivated and committed you'll be to continue the pursuit.  Each time you get in touch with the emotional benefits your goals produce, you'll feel energized and enthused to continue-regardless of the distance to the goal.  Celebrate your goals every day.  Anticipation is half the fun, and most of the motivation for getting there.

Have an awesome week!!
