Tucked off of Blythewood Road in the city of Blythewood, SC is a great little area with a free opportunity to enjoy some fresh air and the outdoors. Blythewood Park located on Boney Road is park of the Richland County Recreation Commission and has a wonderful playground for the little ones to enjoy. If you have outgrown the need for playground equipment for your entertainment, then you also have a couple of baseball fields as well as a covered area with several picnic tables that offer an excellent chance to get out of the Sun and have a snack.
With 21.62 acres of park to explore, Blythewood Park certainly has plenty of space to roam.There are also a couple of tennis courts if that's the type of activity that tickles your fancy. If you happen to feel as many people do that the heat of the day in Sunny South Carolina is a little too unbearable, then just a short distance from the ball fields and right next to the tennis courts is an indoor area where you can continue activities in the shelter and air condition of the gym. With various acivities held at different points throughout the year, Blythewood Park will offer fun for the whole family.
