Thank you to Debe Maxwell, CRS that created and you Rainmakers that judged this contest and to the clever competition I had. You all put some great ideas out there for all of us Rainmakers to grow our businesses with. I'm honored to be amongst the top 3 and appreciate all the comments on my post, thank you!
ActiveRain Contest Winners - May Brainstorming Challenge
This month's ActiveRain 'brainstorming' challenge brought a lot of interesting commentary and some incredible ideas for our monthly challenges & contests. I'm not surprised at the level of creativity at all though - we have many talented members here in the Rain! Soak up other members' knowledge and participate in these contests & challenges - you'll be surprised at what you'll learn, not just by reading the entries but, by writing them yourself as well!
Thanks to everyone who participated - the entries were ALL excellent.
Which brings me to the incredible judges we had for this contest! What a tough job they had and by 6PM today (6/1), all of the judges had read every single entry and had voted and re-voted for finalists - IMPRESSIVE to say the least! If you've ever judged a contest, you can appreciate how impressive these judges were! Many thanks to Sally K. & David L. Hanson, Jeff Dowler, CRS and Anna Banana Kruchten CRB, CRS, Broker for their dedicated work to judge a very difficult contest and they did it in a timely fashion too.
So, without further ado, here are our winners:
#1 - Fred Griffin - Concerning NAR, Fred asks members to go beyond the chatter, to make substantive suggestions for positive change within the Association. As this is front-burner dialog right now, we will be announcing this challenge early next week to run the month of June.
#2 - Lottie Kendall - We ARE our own businesses and sometimes, just a little nudge like a contest to share what 'new' and fresh ideas we have implemented, sparks a light bulb moment for someone else. This challenge encourages us to not only share but, to look within our own businesses to evaluate what is working and, of course, what isn't!
#3 - Thomas Nelson - We loved this entry - it's all about the riches in the niches and focusing on one. The premise - find your niche and get rich! This contest will spark some interesting thoughts, I'm sure!
We also have 3 honorable mentions as follows (did I say the judges had a heck of a time?!):
Thank you all for your inspiring entries & congratulations to our winners! I will be reaching out to each of you in coming weeks to discuss your entries and putting them on the ActiveRain calendar.
Please remember to thank our fantastic judges - we appreciate all you do for the members in the Rain!
