Watch Your Step This Time of Year

Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker 69190

Sesquicentennial State Park Columbia, SC

If you're anything like me, then you like to spend some time enjoying the great outdoors and fortunately here in Columbia, SC, we have a lot of places you can do just that. Whether is jogging at the Columbia Canal, hiking in Congaree National Forest, Boating on Lake Murray, or fishing in Sesquicentennial State Park, there's plenty of places get out and get going. But this time of year you're not the only one out there and this a friendly reminder to watch your step. I have already seen tons of snakes this year and Summer is just starting good. So remember to get out there and have a good time, but be careful where you put your feet.

OMG JL...I don't do snakes!!!  We were out walking in the neighborhood the other day and Larry stopped himself from pointing one that had just slithered across the sidewalk.

I remember stepping on a snake one time and it rolled and felt weird. I did a little dance getting out of there.

I might have seen one today when I was driving, but I haven't seen one walking in a couple of years.  And believe me when I say this time of year I look where I step.  A couple of years ago I found myself on a dock with a snake and well... it wasn't pretty.

That's a good tip. We should always watch where we're stepping, especially when out in the woods/yard, etc.

Good morning JL. It is always important to watch where you step. Hazards are everywhere.
