A Simple Conversation Can Be More Efficient Than One Million Emails
By Silicon Valley REALTOR Michelle Carr Crowe
Who hasn't noticed that sometimes a simple conversation between professionals can be more effective than a million posts, tweets, texts and emails?
The Right Person saying the Right Thing at the Right Time can mean the difference between closing a deal and terminating a relationship.
Yet too often agents believe it seems easier or faster to send a quick text or email, especially in Silicon Valley.
Yet before texting, posting or sending an email, ask oneself, "What is the most efficient use of time and best method of communication?" Sure a call at 5 am is hardly welcome-unless it's San Jose calling New York City where it's already 8 am.
Consider whether a quick conversation-on the phone or in person-could perhaps smooth ruffled feelings, while effectively conveying client communications and simultaneously provide a much-needed "human touch" to a transaction?
For those concerned about a quick call taking too long, the next post will include some "magic words" to help keep conversations on point.
