PA soldIf you buyers in Chester County, Pennsylvania thought new listings were going to drop into your lap without much effort on your part, you are WRONG. Looking at the figures for May, it is evident that you need a Realtor like Carolyn Roland, Your Older and Historic Homes Resource looking out for you and letting you know the minute listings come on the market. If not, you are likely to miss out on some great homes! (photo home no longer available)

May Chester CountyFrom this chart, you can see that compared to May of 2017, the number of available homes was down about 16%. Not only that, but mortgage rates are hovering around 4.75% and not likely to come down any time soon.  The only slightly positive spin is that prices for the year to date are down around 2%. And in more bad news for sellers, average days on the market are UP around 35%! Crazy, right?

So what you need is a personal real estate consultation with Carolyn Roland--you can email Carolyn here.
