"metro" Moncton refers to three adjoining municipalities: the cities of Dieppe and Moncton and the Town of Riverview. Moving outward from that core of three municpalities is a surrounding band of unincorprated area: the "RURAL ROUTES". Next "OUTSIDE" includes many distinct communities such as Shediac, Sackville, Memramcook, Bouctouche, Salisbury, Saint-Antoine as well as unincorporated areas, local service districts, cottage country and camp country. When combined, all these areas are called "Greater Moncton" for the purposes of the HPI tool.
