3 Things Other Real Estate Agents are NOT Doing on Facebook

You know how there are some fashion rules that you should follow, such as wear clothes that "fit" well. Shoes must be clean. Tuck in your shirt if you are wearing a button up shirt. ...but still you see men with shirts untucked. Tennis shoes with suits. A suit jacket with a tshirt underneath....and all you have to do to stand out, is just follow the basic rules of fashion....

That is the same concept with today's topic.

There are some basic rules to social media that you should be following, but not every agent is following.

1. Always Be Conversational

Everytime you post something, you want to do it with the goal of starting a conversation. By creating conversations on Facebook, your content can be seen by the friends of people joining the dialogue...thus expanding your reach! It's okay to post listing information everyso often...but don't forget that this is a social platform, not a classifieds board.

2. Always Respond to Comments and Messages

This item can also be titled "always continue the conversation". Responding to comments will alert your facebook friends, and invite them to join in. This is also a great way to build rapport. Respond by asking more questions! Get them talking about themselves or their thoughts. Also, always check your inbox on Facebook because some leads will opt to contact you there instead of email or phone.

3. Always Check Your Statistics

How do you know if your efforts are performing well if you aren't able to compare it to previous efforts? There are different post types and factors that go into shaping the perfect post. Images, links, time of day, demographic of your audience can play a factor...so you should always check your stats to ensure that you are always learning and improving.

Is there anything else that should be added to this list? Are you guilty of any? Let us know in the comments below!

Agree with whatever you've said. Real estate agents lack somewhere when it comes to engaging with the audience, responding to their comments, answering their messages and having proper statistics of their overall businesses.
Thank you for sharing the ways & views on it.
Keep up the good work.
Best wishes :-) http://geektechsupports.co.uk
