We have participated in many forums throughout the past few years. And one question that seems to always pop up is "Where do I find FSBOs?" They are a pain to convert but can be a substantial source of income for real estate agents. Here are the most popular sources to find home sellers who could use a little bit of your help.
Residential Real Estate Sites.
Craigslist, Zillow’s FSBO section, ForSaleByOwner, and even Facebook’s marketplace is plentiful with FSBO listings.
County Delinquent Taxpayers List
Using your county’s administrative offices or a data provider, you can access a list of delinquent property tax payers in your area. We’d recommend creating a supplemental marketing campaign to start nurturing these leads.
Joining Facebook groups for FSBOs and groups that are relevant to them such as garage sales, estate sales, and DIY home improvement can uncover some gems and establish your territory in the local community. Post relevant blogs that redirect back to your site. This is an easy way to build a following of local leads.
Hyper-local Ad Space
This is paid advertising that targets consumers within a specific geographic area. Facebook Ads, Promoted Pins, Promoted Tweets, etc are great ways to find sellers. It is very easy to find sellers if you know what demographics you are looking for, and if focus on your targeted audience…you’re spending less money on seller leads.
