The Anthem Parkside real estate market pulled back a bit in April. Home sales fell 11% from March and were down 7% year over year. The average sale price was up 2% over March and up 14% over April 2017. The average price per square foot decreased 1% from March, but was up 3% year over year for the Parkside. The average days on market decreased 4% versus March and was up 15% over April 2017. The inventory of homes on the market is at a 2.76 month’s supply, still marking a strong seller's market. The 12 month moving average, $308,740 is up 6% from last year, staying consistent over the past year. The number of homes currently on the market ratcheted up to 120, while the number of homes currently under contract in the Parkside is 68, foretelling a strong report in May.
