There Is Nothing Wrong With Being Ignorant - As Long As

By

Has there ever been a time when you thought someone was ignorant?

Or has there ever been a time when you thought you were ignorant?

Maybe there was a time when someone told you, you were ignorant.

I have thought a few times I were ignorant

Then I looked up the definition of ignorant: Lacking knowledge or awareness in general, uneducated.

Then I realized there is nothing wrong about being ignorant, if when you recognize it, you begin to do something about it now.

That now part is important. When is now? Today!

You may only devote five minutes toward the change today, and more time tomorrow, next week and the following week. You are ok then.

Thirty-two years ago, I was ignorant about Toastmasters, when my best friend invited me to a meeting, I ignored the opportunity.

That was ignorant.

Twenty years later he invited me again. Thank God.

Last year I took second place in the International Speech Contest AND the Humorous Speech contest out of 4,500 Toastmasters in Arizona.

That mistake cost me over $500,000, possibly even over $1,000,000!

A few weeks ago, a friend invited me to look at an opportunity in real estate sales that is new.

I reviewed it and visited two meetings for one-hour presentations.

Certain it was the thing to do, I attended two more presentations, now as a Realtor I have made the change in real estate because I know this is the largest opportunity I have seen in my 38 years as a Realtor.

Did you watch and listen?

If you did you know the presentation was done by Rob Flick.

Rob used to be with Keller Williams. Rob now earns $300,000 per month. And his wife earns $270,000 per month.

Maybe now would be a great time to watch and listen to him.

When you have 30 minutes to look and listen, see what you think.

This has caused me to wake up at 4:00a.m. and get up immediately because of the excitement.

Then too, I am a more excitable person than anyone else I know.

I hope your day is as great at mine.

Admitting ignorance is the first step toward solving it.  I don't know much about many things, but I try to learn what I can as I need to gain the knowledge.  Those who "think" they know, but don't are the most dangerous.
