Children living in Doublegate real estate are invited to participate in LEGO® Camp this summer. Imagine the delight on your child’s face as they enter a room with tens of thousands of LEGO® bricks. There are several choices in the type of camp and the dates.
Children ages 5 to 7 are invited to participate in Jedi Engineering with LEGO materials. Participants will be able to build motorized and architectural projects from another galaxy. Choose from such things as X-Wings, Defense Turrets, Energy Catapults, R2 Units, and much more. This camp will take place at the Newtown Park Community Clubhouse from June 25th through June 29th from 9 a.m. to noon. The cost is $150 for residents living in Doublegate real estate and $225 for those not living in Johns Creek. Be sure to register as soon as possible. The deadline is June 18th.

Older children ages 7 through 12 can participate in Jedi Master Engineering with LEGO materials. The projects will be more complex and make all participants feel as though they are one with the force. This camp will take place on the same dates in the same location as mentioned above from 1 to 4 p.m. The cost is also the same, and June 18th is the last day for registration.
Another option available for those ages 5-7 is Mine, Craft, Build: Adventure Game with LEGO Materials. Participants will be able to bring Minecraft to life. This camp is available at Fire Station #62 - Shakerag from July 9th through July 13th. from 9 a.m. to noon. The cost is also $150 for those who call Doublegate home and $225 for those living outside of Johns Creek. Registration for this session ends July 2nd.
Older children ages 7-12 can participate from 1 to 4 p.m. on the same dates in the same place. Their program, with more complicated projects, is titled Mine, Craft, Build: Survival Game with LEGO Materials. The cost is the same and registration ends July 2nd.
