What the world owes me...

Good mornng, Khash Saghafi I'm up and at it very early every day, and it starts at the gym...that's MY time.... the rest of the day is devoted to "participating" for me and for others to "keep it going".... thanks for my daily dose of Khash....

So practical and so true! The world doesn't owe us a thing..its up to us to focus, rely on ourselves and find fulfillment through our God given talents.

This is exactly how I was raise, Khash, and continue to live my life and to install the same values in our grandkids: "Start every single day with a belief that nothing is owed to you, that you must go out and work for what you want because nothing will be handed to you."

Hi Khash- absolutely true. If anything we owe the world and our planet for giving us the great place to live.

I agree because I have always felt this way. The mindset of being owed is one of deprivation and I never want to feel that way. It's up to me!

Do it for the people who are counting on you

Do it for yourself!  Do it because IT IS YOUR'S TO DO!  Do it for the sake of feeling things click into place and flow smoothly.   Do it for the results you will achieve and the benefit you will bring to others.  

I know a few that believe deep within that life owes them something.  While they are waiting for life to deliver, they live in misery, expecting something to just show up that they make no effort to bring into being.  

I even know someone that hates rich people.  She believes that rich people are greedy, compassionless, and self-centered.  She believes this is the reason she ISN'T rich, because rich people take all the money and hoard it leaving too little for everyone else.  I recently pointed out to her that if you honestly believe this, "you are saying that God is limited."  The look on her face was priceless!  But I don't think this will change anything; she will still be waiting for life to deliver what she believes she deserves.  And guess what; life always delivers what we deserve, not what we THINK we deserve while doing nothing whatsoever to make it happen.

I'm so glad Kathy shared this post this week. What a wonderful change we could make in the world if people would take on this mind set.

This is the smartest post!  So simple yet so powerful.  I'm surprised it wasn't featured. This would make a great title for a motivational book :)  Just sayin'

Only arrogant and self-consumed people feel that they are entitled to anything that they obviously are not.

The world owes me nothing, but I owe the world much.

Giving back is my goal.
