Avoiding the sea of sameness and having the fish jump into your bowl is what is discussed on this video.

Number One Marketing Challenge from The Language of Luxury on Vimeo.

You need to understand your clients and craft your message, so that they see you as the answer to their prayers. Your message should clearly express why you are the answer to their prayers.  And your clients will go out of their way to refer you, and assure others you are the only solution.

You know Alexandra, I started to re-read a book from my library called "The Ultimate Sales Letter" by Dan Kennedy. He says the same thing. You MUST put yourself in your clients shoes if you want to "understand" them and what they want.

Ah, "The sea of sameness."  Very good points about standing away and out of the crowd to create your own unique niche.

It's taking me forever to post in AR today, not sure if it's me or the site. Regardless, I need a break. Lol.

Hi Ron and Alexandra Seigel ,
This post made me realize what my approach will be to the newest Challenge: My Best Farming Technique

That said, I've always been unique.  When I was a kid I wanted to fit in.  I had friends but I wasn't what I'd call popular.  It was when I went off to college that I decided to embrace my unique self and, honestly, it was so liberating.

Thanks for the post.

Carol Williams  You are welcome, and like you I had a brief bout of wanting to fit in.  Luckily I had friends who did not want to fit in, and my parents who emphasized being true to myself.  A

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD it is the site, I had to post the video twice and it erased the first paragraph.  Since I have not had a chance to re-download Word in my computer after my friends at Apple erased everything and loaded the Operating System, I did not have the Word document to go back to.  LOL  A

1)  I liked the comment about being the answer to their prayers.  I remember years ago attending a class on overcoming objections and someone asked "What do you say when the potential client says they want to go home and pray about it?"  Answer:  That's easy!  Just look them in the eye and say "Who do you think sent me?" (I loved that but unless I really know the people, I don't use that one).

2)  Good video at the end about differentiating yourself in 30 seconds, but surprised it was a 1 minute and 45 second video (admittingly it did address three areas though).

Jim Paulson Ron intended the 30 seconds to address the one issue of how you are different, he did that in 30 seconds.  I will mention it to him and we will add some clarification.  We had clients who actually said they prayed, and God answered.  We were flattered, and they are still one of our favorite companies we have worked for.  We love seeing them thrive.  A

You can’t just jump in the pool at first without knowing your depth, as they say. It’s pretty simple.

It’s really a perfect pitch when its condensed to that and still effective. I really love that. Ron and Alexandra Seigel Ron has mind for this for sure, you both do. :)

Your video says it well. I love the photos and the captions. "I am all ears", that is what people want.

Not, "I am all talk"

Looking forward to the next video of the series.
