Keys, keys and more keys! Sometimes, I don't have room for all the keys in my purse. There's the key to my house, the key to my car and can I complain about one? Key fobs are so large. Yes, I can reach down inside my purse and pull that one out in the dark!
There are keys to the garage and the garage door openers! Keys to the office, keys to storage buildings, keys to a thousand different things and I am supposed to keep up with all of them. Even my neighbor wants me to keep one for her. My kids have given me extra keys.
There are however, two keys that are most important that don't take up room in my purse. One is the key to success. This key has many ridges and they are different in each key. However, everyone's "success key" will have one ridge that is the same.
That one is Communication!
Some Realtors(R) think they can be successful and not communicate. They let their busy lives take precedence over their duties to clients and to other agents.
This is the way to go bust in this competitive business. Don't communicate and you will not win. Other agents will pass you by. So, take the extra time and make a phone call or at least, text a message. There are people waiting on you. They need to hear from you! People make decisions many times because of one small communication. Do you see how important it is, hearing from you?
The other key is the key to your Heart. Is Real Estate that key? If it is, you can have a life long love affair. Real Estate business never gets old, it's always exciting and will be top of mind most of the time. So, if you are new to the business, hang on to these keys. They will open doors you cannot imagine!
