I am just starting to receive calls about selling your White Lake front home now.  Many lakefront home owners in White Lake Township wonder when the right time is to list their home. Typically the best time to sell your lakefront home in White Lake is in the spring and summer.  Lakefront homes sell better when the sun is shining. Most buyers would prefer to view homes in warmer weather.

Early spring is a great time to be the one lakefront house that stands out. 

If your waterfront home is in just average condition to poor condition I can tell you it is very important not to overprice it when there are many other homes sitting on the market.  It is because the better condition ones will usually sell first because buyers like updated homes.  They are only a few situations where a buyer will purchase a lakefront home that it over priced... and we are definitely seeing more of that on White Lake. The first being that a buyer seriously has to be on that particular lake. All they can think about is finally living on the lake that they've always wanted or truly love. They're willing to pay the extra money to get on the lake they want. the other goes hand and hand with the first; When the buyer ends up in a multiple offer situation and wont take no for an answer they want to get on the lake and to beat the other offers. White lake is definitely seeing higher priced homes for sale, some of which, in a different market wouldn't normally be that high. This is a lake in high demand and homes are often going through multiple offer situations, casuing the end sale to be a higher amount.
