It’s time to celebrate our great country’s birthday! Delray’s events will center around our wonderful beaches with activities for young and old, water lovers and music lovers as well!!!
A1A and Atlantic Avenue
And Gleason Street
8 AM to Noon: Annual Sandcastle Contest
Join and on the fun and cheer our local sand artists as they create whatever their imagination allows!
Building will be just east of the Pavilion. The event is sponsored by the Help Our Wounded Foundation!
9 AM to Noon: Silverball Museum’s Professional Sand Sculpture
5 PM to 9 PM: Family friendly activities and booths
This includes activities sponsored by Putt’n Around Mini-Golf, face painting, and many other interactive booths.
5 PM Flag Raising Ceremony at Atlantic & Gleason St.
5 PM to 9 PM Main Stage Entertainment at Atlantic and A1A
Entertainment will include Solid Brass, Echosmith, and the U.S. Army Jazz Ambassadors!
9 PM Fireworks Show by Zambelli!!!
Fireworks will once again launch from a barge offshore in the Atlantic at A1A and Atlantic Avenue.
Things to know…
Road Closures-Atlantic Avenue will be closed beginning at 1:30 PM on July 4 Federal Hwy east to Atlantic Avenue. Part of A1A will be closed to thru traffic from George Bush south to Linton.
Boat Traffic- Atlantic Avenue, Linton, and George Bush Blvd bridges will be closed to marine traffic from 8 PM to 10 PM.
Bicycles- Take your bike to the event! There will be free Bicycle Valet Racks with someone there to watch over them!
Parking-All city parking garages will be $5 per vehicle from 10 AM until closing!
It’s HOT- Be sure to bring sunscreen, protection from the sun, and lots of water!!!!!
