I WILL MAKE A PROMIE TO ALL AGENTS   GET BACK TO BASICS FIND AN APPARTMENT COMPLEX   KNOCK ON 100 DOORS IF YOU CAN NOT GET AT LEAST ONE GOOD BUYER. THEN TRY TO KNOCK ON AT LEAST ONE MORE DOOR  AND YOU WILL HAVE A BUYER.

REMENBER YOU ARE IN SALES  NOT SITTING ON THE SEAT BUSNESS.

I find there are still ample buyers in the market for a new home. Yes we are in sales and you have to work. Great post and reminder of another way to find a buyer.

Hi Curtis -- Can you expand on that a bit... Do you take listing flyers with you?  Just your card?  I'm sure you must do this on a weekend?

There are so many ways to get buyers and sellers to work with you.  One technique is to market yourself differently. We have the tools at our fingertips.  An excellent source would be your MLS.  Daily listings of expired and withdrawn listing pop-up.  Give these people a call the day before (make sure you check the "Do Not Call Registry") Walk your neighborhood and introduce yourself.  Hand out your business card to everyone you meet.  What you should not do is stay in front of your computer all day and hope business will find you.

Knocking on doors, pounding the pavement...circulating and meeting people is the key!

I cannot complain.  I have been getting referrals from friends and my insurance agent.
