TGIF Concerts in the Parks Series in Carlsbad
Starting Tonight
This first concert features the Stoney B Blues Band and will be held at Stagecoach Community Park at 3420 Camino de los Coches off Rancho Santa Fe Road across the street from the shopping center. The next 2 concerts, June 29 and July 66, are at the same park.

2018 marks the 33rd season of the TGIF Concerts in the Parks series, with 9 concerts planned in 4 of Carlsbad’s community parks. The TGIF concert series is a major fund raising event for the City of Carlsbad art programs and is presented by the City of Carlsbad’s Cultural Arts Office.
If you’ve attended, and many Carlsbadians have, you know how popular these TGIF Concerts in the Parks are, which means a big crowd and challenging parking unless you arrive early. It’s a wonderful way to spend a summer evening with your blankets and chairs, dinner and drinks, plenty of kids, great dancing (yourself or just watching), and terrific live music in a wide range of styles.
The concerts start at 6 and conclude around 8. There is an intermission around 7 when they raffle off some pretty cool prizes; volunteers wander through the crowds selling tickets being sold during the first hour.
It’s fun to win, of course – we never have!! – but be sure to save your raffle tickets if you aren’t lucky, as you will have another chance at the final concert on August 17.
